Join us as we recount our enriching week at the E-Chem Expo & Conference in Kingsport, Tennessee, where we engaged in networking, showcased cutting-edge technologies, and strengthened our brand presence alongside Teikoku. From happy hour events and plant tours to a successful expo day, our team left a lasting impact, anticipating future opportunities in the East Tennessee area.
We attended the 25th biennial E-Chem Expo and Convention in Kingsport, Tennessee, this past month. It was an enriching week spent growing our network, learning about new opportunities and technology, and enhancing our brand recognition. We attended the expo with one of our brand lines, Teikoku, whose products we represent and distribute. During the three days we were in Kingsport, we hosted an event, toured the Polymers and Methanolysis divisions at the Eastman plant, and operated a booth at the expo!
To kick off our week, we hosted a meet-and-greet, happy hour event with Teikoku for our colleagues at Eastman involved in chemical and mechanical processing in the Polymers and Methanolysis divisions. Teikoku President Erik Darron, National Sales Manager Chatty Sakhalkar, Regional Sales Manager Jim Hoffman, and Field Service Manager Matt Jenkins met directly with those operating their pumps at Eastman. We collectively discussed the current processes we are involved in and opportunities ahead for canned motor pumps and the services provided by us at HAGLER Process. It was an evening filled with delicious hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and good conversation!
The following day, we had the opportunity to take several of our employees who had not been inside Eastman before to see our pumps in action. Jim Hoffman, Matt Jenkins, and Chatty Sakhalkar from Teikoku joined us to see how plastics are manufactured, observe the pumps we have installed in these operations, and check out the new Methanolysis process in person for the first time! 'It was an eye-opening experience to be inside a plant for the first time and to lay eyes on the pumps and equipment I hear about all the time, and see them in action,' said our Marketing Director, Kristin George.
Before we knew it, it was expo day! We had a busy day setting up and running our booth. Our application engineer, Reid Solomon, manned the ZEISS scanner at our booth, and Kristin George, our Marketing Director, managed our social media giveaway raffle. Our partners at Teikoku had a booth next to ours, and attendees of the seminars at the expo got to listen to them speak about canned motor pump technology and canned motor pumps in obscure applications. It was a highly successful trade show, and we had the opportunity to meet many great industry professionals, sharing what we love to do with others!
It was a week well spent for our team in Kingsport, full of valuable conversations and experiences. After such a successful week, we are certainly looking forward to the next E-chem Expo!
